Thank you to all the litter pickers who joined in our bi-annual clean-up on Saturday 27 October.  It was encouraging to have so many volunteers who did a really good job of clearing public areas and lanes of the rubbish that sadly accrues.  Our thanks too to all residents who independently collect rubbish on a regular basis.  The Spring litter pick will take place on Saturday 30 March.

We are fortunate to live in an area of relatively low crime, but the following reminder has been forwarded to Parish Councils by our local PCSO: "If you notice anything strange, suspicious or worrying, please report it to your local Police. To keep this a safe community we need the public to be our eyes and ears”.

Despite torrential rain last Saturday, the bonfire burnt bright and the fireworks lit up the sky impressively.  We hope it was enjoyed by everyone who came and a huge thank you to those who worked so hard in the organisation, setting up and clearing up for the event.
