USED BOOK SALE: SATURDAY 16TH MARCH

9.30AM – 3.00PM, DROXFORD VILLAGE HALL

Free Entry to the Sale - and All Books 50p each

We are delighted to announce the return of the biannual used book sale, where every book is 50p and be aware, there will be plenty to choose from! So far we have gathered together a collection in the following categories: fiction; auto-biographies; cooking; travel; plants and gardening; children's; reference; history and many more besides!

We also have a selection of jigsaws and children's board games; plus a sweet stall which will be run by Masters Brown & Duckworth, residents of the village, who are raising money to help replace the worn out goal posts on the recreation ground.

We can only take cash payment, so please bring your pennies and pounds, and don't forget a shopping bag to take all your pre-loved books home in.

Any proceeds from the day will be shared between Droxford Village Hall; the Sustainable Droxford Re-Nature Project (Palace Meadow Rewilding); Bishops Waltham Men’s Shed and Droxford Recreation Ground goals.

Of course, refreshments will be available from the fantastic Wilfrid's Cafe and vouchers for reduced priced drinks will be provided to all Book Sale customers. What better way to contemplate your literary purchases than over a pot of tea or a barista coffee??

If you have any unwanted books you would like to donate, please contact Ailsa Duckworth, [email protected] or phone 07769681555
