EMERGENCY LIFE SAVING SKILLS TRAINING – FREE
Droxford Parish Council are pleased to offer residents the chance to learn how to use a defibrillator and give CPR. CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions and rescue breaths to give a person the best chance of survival following a cardiac arrest. This is a free session and is open to all ages and abilities.
Venue – Village Hall, The Square, Droxford, SO32 3PA

Meon Valley Heartstart will show you what to do in an emergency and how to access and use a defibrillator.
The training will cover:
• How to approach a medical emergency
• Calling the emergency services
• Dealing with an unconscious person
• Understanding CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation)
• Recognising the signs of a heart attack
• Using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

There is a defibrillator located outside Droxford Village Hall. Within the Meonstoke & Corhampton Parish, there is a defibrillator located at the Meon Hall.
