Amazon have reported that there has been an increase in customers reporting fake emails about Amazon Prime membership subscriptions.

Amazon will never ask you to provide payment information for products or services over the phone. Amazon also never asks for your password or for sensitive personal information over the phone or on any external websites.

Received a message about an order confirmation that you did not make? Log into your Amazon account, only legitimate purchases will appear in your order history.

Received a message informing you your account has been suspended? Do not click on the link provided or phone the number listed.

Authentic emails from Amazon are logged in the Message Centre.
