Droxford resides within a cluster of villages surrounding the A32 area of the Meon Valley, covered by the Winchester Greater Neighbourhood Policing Team, one of three teams within the Winchester District. The team is managed by Police Sergeant Richard Holland and your local beat manager is Police Community Support Officer Gracie Wetherill (contact details below).

The team operate out of Bishops Waltham Police station, Hoe Road, SO32 1DS. This building does not have front counter, however Fareham Police Station and Mottisfont Court, Winchester continue to operate this facility.

Crime reporting should always go through formal channels: 999 during a live incident/emergency, 101 for new crime reports after an incident or you can access the online reporting service here. The team are unable to accept new reports via email or mobile. This ensures prompt and effective classification and allocation of your crime or incident.

The team engage with the community in a variety of ways. They attend local groups and events in order to engage and provide you with a visible presence in the villages. At the Cuppacheeno Café in West Meon, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator Nigel Prior holds a drop in session once a month (please see the events page for more details). Hampshire Constabulary are supporters of NHW as it provides a link with the community and can be a valuable intelligence source. You are also able to follow the team on Twitter, @WinchesterCops, for daily updates and crime prevention advice.

Motorcycles using the A32 in an antisocial manner remain a priority, led by the Roads Policing Unit and in 2019, several operations were conducted with the assistance of the Neighbourhood Team to educate road users and issue penalties where appropriate.
