DON’T LET YOUR RECYCLING GO TO WASTE

You should have recently received a letter about food waste recycling, along with your new bin collection calendar.

On the back of the letter, there was a poster showing exactly what you can currently recycle in the Winchester district (and across Hampshire) – including what can go in your food waste bin once your collections start.

By making sure the right thing goes in the right bin, you’re doing your bit to avoid a lorry load becoming spoilt, which can result in your recycling load having to be sent for incineration instead of being put back to use.
