Curious to find out where your home might be losing heat? You may be able to borrow a thermal imaging camera from your local WeCAN climate action group for free!

They can also tell you where to get advice to help make your home warmer and more comfortable, as well as reduce your energy bills - such as the My Home Made Better project.

The Winchester Climate Action Network (WeCAN) project was set up four years ago by local charity, Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC). WeCAN, which we’ve helped fund, supports people to set up projects in their local area that can have a real impact on tackling the climate crisis by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

There are 17 WeCAN groups across the Winchester district, nine of which have thermal imagers to lend. These include groups in Littleton & Harestock, Olivers Battery, South Wonston, Colden Common, Highcliffe, Upham, Alresford, Bishops Waltham and Swanmore.
